Same Day Surgery Center

Greenview Regional Hospital offers the convenience of the Same Day Surgery Center but with the ability to move the patient to a short stay (23 hours) or to inpatient if needed.

Whether you are having laser surgery, GYN, orthopaedic, urological, ophthalmic or plastic surgery (including skin resurfacing to reduce the appearance of aging), Greenview has the ability to serve you.

Our Same Day Surgery Department keeps you posted on pre-operation visits and post-operation visits. During these times if there are any questions that you have about your surgery or your recovery process, feel free to ask.

• Sentinel Node Mapping for Melanomas and breast cancer
• Laparoscopic procedures for general surgery and GYN (ex. gallbladder, hernia, etc.)
• Ear/Nose/Throat
• Eye surgery including cataract and lens implantation and lasic procedures
• Total joint replacement
• Sports medicine procedures
• Prostatic seed implantation for prostate cancer
• Kidney stones/ shock wave lithotripsy
• Lasertripsy

Anesthesia through a locally based group of board certified physicians including pain management referrals for chronic pain.

Same Day Surgery also provides food service from Bread and Bagels in our waiting area for your family while you undergo surgery and recovery.
